MASTER OF DESIGN
Mar 2021 - Nov 2022
User Experience Designer responsible for the app’s design from concept to delivery.
Challenge
“This houseplant hobby has become expensive, time-consuming, demoralizing” People have bought multiple items/gadgets spending over $100 to take care of plants as they started the new hobby. Not everyone has a backyard or can afford gardening tools. Improving access to home gardens, urban green spaces, and community gardens could be an important way to boost well-being and health.
Solution
The answer is to create a product and an app that has an automatic watering system and simultaneously supplies nutrients to care for their indoor plants. The target market includes teenagers, students, nurseries, and gardeners. Since it is intended to be automated by a battery, which could eliminate the manual work required by users to take care of their plants, the main objective is to make the product user-friendly, minimal, and refined in order to save some time for our target audience.
YES YOUR PLANT IS STILL ALIVE!
